The reptiles were brought into town by REPTILE Inc. owner Michael Brophy of Troy.

STANDISH — Audience members enjoy a concert by the Rifle River Folk Strings outside of the Standish Historical Depot on Thursday. The weather was beautiful with temperatures in the 70's during the evening.

STANDISH — The Standish City council accepted City Ordinance No. 246, on Thursday June 17, 2010.
The ordinance allows the city to put a six-month moratorium on the issuance of medical marijauna sales permits and dispensaries of the drug within the city.
The City Council was also set to vote on a city wide recycling program, but ended up tabling it until the next meeting so it could be discussed more.
The program was not well received by those in the crowd at city hall.
