STANDISH TWP. — Racers from across the U.S. and Canada gathered at White’s Beach in Standish Township for the Battle on the Bay snowmobile race Feb. 9-10, with thousands of dollars in prize money. The weather cooperated, with plenty of ice and snow with clear visibility. more

WHITTEMORE — The Whittemore-Prescott school board unanimously approved a resolution Dec. 10 supporting a merger between the Huron Shores Conference, W-P’s current athletic conference, and the North Star League. more
