ARENAC COUNTY — A severe thunderstorm rolled through Arenac County this afternoon. The severe weather knocked down two telephone poles next to the Shell Gas Station, in Sterling, along with causing a scattered power outage in Standish. The storm also completely flooded some streets in Standish, and caused worries about a small fire that may have happen inside of Pamida. No injuries or major incidents have been reported. ARENAC COUNTY — Severe weather rolled through Arenac County Thursday afternoon causing power outages and knocking down trees in the area. The storm, which rolled in around 3-4 p.m., had wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour and heavy rains. more
