AE gridders playoff hopes dwindle

TWINING — Arenac Eastern's football team's hopes of qualifying for the postseason playoffs took a big hit Friday, Oct. 9, as the Eagles dropped an 14-8 overtime decision to Peck to slip to 3-4 on the season.

The Eagles needed to win their final three regular season games to earn an automatic berth in the playoffs, and now they only have two games remaining.

Qualifying with five wins is possible, but is dependent on the overall number of automatic qualifiers in their division.
