ATLANTA — Arenac Eastern's long trip to Atlanta on Friday probably didn't feel quite as long as the trip back after the Eagles fell 47-0 to their hosts as the Huskies celebrated homecoming.

The Eagles didn't do themselves any favors, turning the ball over three times in the first half and setting Atlanta up with prime field position on two other occasions with bad snaps on punts.

Atlanta took full advantage of its good fortune, scoring on all five first-half possessions for a 35-0 lead. Atlanta (3-3, 2-2 North Star League) running back Ken Englehart rushed for 111 yards and four touchdowns on just 11 carries.

Graham Morgan rushed for 56 yards and passed for 33 more to lead AE's offense.

The Eagles (2-4, 1-4) have a bye on Friday, the host AuGres-Sims on Friday, Oct. 17.
