AGS boys big second half too much for Atlanta


ATLANTA — The Au Gres-Sims boys' basketball team was too much too handle in the second half for the Atlanta Huskies as the Wolverines pulled away for a 93-51 win on Dec. 17.

The Wolverines built a 47-36 lead going into the break, and a big scoring night helped them coast to victory.

Kendall Rollins led AGS with 20 points and 14 rebounds, followed by Kyle Boensch, who added 19 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, and Connor Pendred, who chipped in with 12 points and seven assists.

The Wolverines (2-2, 2-1) travel to play the Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals at the W-P Holiday Tournament on Dec. 22.

Atlanta falls to 0-4, 0-3 on the season.
