TWINING — Arenac Eastern and Au Gres-Sims students from grades 6-12 had the opportunity to check out some of the hobbies and activities out there during the schools’ annual teen summit May 10.

According to AGS Principal Chad Zeien, the focus on this year’s event was bullying, and showing students alternatives to “unwise” life choices.

“We felt like it was an appropriate theme, with all the different things happening throughout the nation,”Zeien said.

The summit alternates between the two schools each year, and Zeien said this is the fourth summit that the two schools have done jointly. Prior to then, Arenac Eastern ran the events by itself.
