July 5 marked the opening day for the weekly farmers market in Au Gres at the old Water Funland property on US-23. Vendors sold a mixture of crafts, jewelry, produce and other cooking goods on a sunny morning. The market runs through Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. each Friday, with additional vendors still welcome by the city.
