Isaiah 58:12, a faith-based disaster relief group, strolled into River of Life Fellowship in Pinconning on July 16-18 to teach an intense 20-hour Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) certification course to 30 volunteers from Pinconning, Standish, AuGres, Linwood, Auburn, Midland, Clio, Coleman and South Dakota.

The training course helps citizens come together to form a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) of volunteers to help assist authorities in disaster situations.
