Here's some of the articles we're reading today:
Ex-Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was found guilty of extortion, racketeering conspiracy and several other charges Monday, March 11. The verdict marks the end of a decade-long corruption investigation.
Cardinals who will elect a new pope are reportedly deeply divided. Romans are believed to be leaning toward a Brazilian candidate, while so-called reformers are leaning toward an Italian.
South Korea and the U.S. are conducting war drills in response to threats from North Korea. North Korea has reportedly shut down a Red Cross hotline that was previously used for communications between the two Koreas, and is also reportedly conducting military drills.
