The Fizz, Boom, Read summer program hosted by the Iosco-Arenac District Library came to a close July 30, after Acting Up Theatre of Grayling performed The Terrible Misgivings of Dr. Frankenmuth. In the play, Dr. Frankenmuth is attempting to create a potion that will make people extremely smart, thus making libraries obsolete. However, his assistant, iGor, is able to cleverly make him reverse course after the doctor needs to use a library himself. The photos here are from the performance at the Mary Johnston Memorial Library in Standish.
