Investigation of Standish arson leads to three arrests
STANDISH — Three suspects have been arrested in an arson that occurred on Grove Street in Standish on Sept. 16, 2008.
According to a press release issued from the Arenac County Sheriff’s Office on June 15, the three suspects are Connie Jo Kellogg, 46, of Standish, arrested on charges of solicitation of arson, arson to a dwelling house and arson of insured property; Derrick James Kusterer, 23, of Standish, arrested on charges of arson to a dwelling house and arson of insured property; Craig Anthony Armstrong, 25, of Standish, on arson to a dwelling house and arson of insured property.
The investigation was performed by Arenac County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and revealed that Kellogg allegedly solicited Kusterer and Armstrong to burn a rental house she owned and rented in the 100 block of Grove Street.
