PINCONNING — A fire on a residential property on Second Street in Pinconning Jan. 21 was quickly squelched by the Pinconning-Fraser Fire Department. No injuries were reported in the incident.
According to Pinconning Police Sgt. Terry Spencer, the department received a call at about 9 a.m. about a fire engulfing an RV parked in a residential driveway. Spencer said no one was inside the trailer during the fire that he is aware of.
The fire spread to the nearby garage before the fire department put it out within a half hour, Spencer said, while the house’s resident was evacuated. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The RV was almost completely destroyed in the blaze, while the garage and house did not suffer a great deal of damage, Spencer said.
