EAST TAWAS — The Pinconning Spartans boys squad beat Tawas Area 48-38 Jan. 8.

The Spartans built a 13-2 first quarter lead and never looked back.

Pinny (6-1, 3-0) stays atop the Northeast Michigan Conference at travels to Garber for an out of conference matchup with Essexville-Garber Jan. 13.
