Pinny eliminated by Gladwin

PINCONNING — Pinconning saw its frustrating season come to an end Wednesday as the Spartans lost 8-0 to visiting Gladwin in the opening round of district tournament play.

The Flying G's (16-2-1) got three goals apiece from Chris Smalley and Ryan Greaves to key Gladwin's offense.

Kyle Sanford made 19 saves for the Spartans, who finished their season with a 1-18 mark. Michael Hasso, Brandon Charbonneau, David Snell and Justin Federspiel managed shots on goal for Pinny.
