Several newcomers came to race this weekend and four of them were in the Lead Sled class. #77 Paul McClain from Tawas and #31 Bob Robinson of Midland brought the field to the green. Chad Lamson raced unchallenged to the checkers with Trevor King in the runner up spot and #91 Ryan Haas from Warren in third. Mike Ullman Jr. drove back to fourth. #1 Kris Edmonds of AuGres was TQ.

Next up the fastest Mini Stocks in the state took to the speedway. #88 Chas Forshee from Hale and #72 Dirk VanAuken of Sterling brought the field to the green flag. Muckenthaller held on to the lead until his engine expired on the front stretch with only two laps to go. The two lap shoot out was won by Moe. Second went to Dave More and third was Tom Rivers of Sterling.

Factory Stocks ran next. #6 Joe Collman of Hale and #64 Chuck Charbeneau from Prescott took the field to the green. Collman took the early lead with heat and pursuit winner #96 Rich Haskin close behind. James Farley and Bob Farley moved into the top two places as TQ #10 Tom Stone from Linden drove into third. They raced hard for the rest of the race as James Farley drove to the win with brother Bob second and Stone third.
