Rose City man running for Congress as independent

ROSE CITY — Glenn Wilson, of Rose City, is seeking to be the representative in Congress for Michigan’s First District.

Wilson is running as an independent. He is the owner of M-33 Access in Rose City.

“Glenn Wilson (IND-Rose City) … is ready to challenge the two party system, now that the district field is set,” said a link on Wilson’s campaign facebook page dated Aug. 15. "I'm looking forward to sending the message for Northern Michigan voters to the entrenched power in Washington that principle is more important than party loyalties."

The current two party system does not and has not impressed me with their "lip service" and I always ask myself what idiot I'm going to vote in this time but I find glenn refreshing and always refering to the Constitution of the United States and promising to adhere to it and yes I've heard that from other parties candidates before!!! I say challenge the two party system and stick to the Constitution. Does he have my vote?? I'm still pondering and watching.

God Bless America and keep it safe.
