PINCONNING — Standish-Sterling's strength this season has been its defense, and the Panthers cracked down on Friday, holding Pinconning to 22 points through the first three quarters of Friday's 63-43 victory.

The SSC girls finished in a third-place tie with John Glenn in the NEMC girls basketball standings with the win.
