S.T.O.P.P.E.D. program Arenac County ranked number two in the state

Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for persons 15 to 20 years of age.

Sheriff Ronald Bouldin along with the Michigan Sheriff’s Association have been proud to have offered the Sheriff’s Telling Parents and Promoting Educated Drivers (STOPPED) program to Arenac County parents for the first full year and was just ranked 2nd in the State, by county size class. STOPPED is a voluntary notification system that allows parents to monitor their teens driving habits through the Sheriff’s Office and other partners in Law enforcement.
