STANDISH — The Pine River Golf Club hosted the annual St. Mary’s of Michigan Standish Auxiliary Charity Golf Tournament June 8, teeing off to an overcast and slightly rainy morning that turned to sunshine as the day went on.

Teams of four competed for the lowest score on 18-holes of golf, aiming to secure prizes for the top men’s, women’s, and mixed teams. Other prizes were raffled off, and players could stop at the clubhouse to get refreshments, lunch, and dinner.

Money raised by the tournament goes toward the hospital for remodeling projects and equipment purchases.
