The Standish-Sterling football team boarded a charter bus headed for Menominee the morning of Nov. 15, and many Panthers fans were there to wish them good luck. After saying goodbye and giving and receiving hugs and handshakes, the Panthers got on the bus and were escorted to I-75 by a police car and two fire trucks from the Sterling Area Fire Department. SSC plays Menominee Saturday, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. eastern, 1 p.m. central.
