Standish lights up for Christmas

Anxious children waited on the corner of Grove Road and Cedar Street Friday night, singing Christmas carols and trying to stay warm until Santa arrived. He finally did, on the back of Standish Area Fire Authority Fire Truck, and then led the carolers from Lions' Park to the Standish Historical Depot and Welcome Center. At the depot, children could tell Santa their holiday wishlist.
