Clear, sunny skies were overhead Omer during the annual Sucker Derby for Kids April 5. Children and their families lined the banks of the Rifle River in Michigan's smallest city, hoping to hook the biggest sucker making its run down the river. Fish were weighed and measured at a tent set up in the parking lot of the road commission garage. Around the tent, several games and activities were available for children to participate in.
