STANDISH — On Oct. 14, six days after officially firing City Manager Tori Kelly and City Treasurer Melissa McAllister, the Standish City Council began looking for replacements. Mayor Kevin King says the Council is advertising the vacancies in newspapers and already getting replies from interested parties. “We’re getting a file filled with resumes,” King said. “Hopefully by [this] week we sort out the applicants.” He says the positions are advertised as paying $45-$65,000 for the manager position and $25-$32,000 for the treasurer job.
