Two injured in rollover accident on US-23

ARENAC TWP. — A two-car rollover accident on US-23 occurred Dec. 8, injuring two people.

Undersheriff Don McIntyre said the accident occurred at 5:17 p.m. near the intersection with M-65, when a Mazda rear-ended a Chevrolet Cruze while both cars were going eastbound. Both vehicles ended up rolling over as a result of the collision, McIntyre said.

Both drivers and the passenger of the Cruze were wearing seat belts, he said, and both drivers were taken to St. Mary’s of Michigan Standish Hospital to have non-life-threatening injuries treated. The passenger was uninjured.
