TWINING -- A second quarter touchdown was all Arenac Eastern needed as the Eagles defeated Detroit Allen Acacemy 8-0 in the season-opener for both teams Friday, Aug. 28.

Quarteback Graham Morgan scored the game's only touchdown on a 1-yard run in the second quarter. He also ran in the 2-point coversion, giving the Eagles all the points they would need.

Morgan led the stingy Eagles defense with 10 tackels, Kyle Zobel had eight tackles, two interceptions and one fumble recovery, and Al Bilicic contributed eight tackles.
