WHITTEMORE-PRESCOTT - Dec. 8, 2008 - Whittemore-Prescott's girls basketball team built a 15-10 halftime lead over Mio AuSable on Monday, but Kelsie Blamer and Kayla Lefler combined for 19 second-half points to propel the Thunderbolts to a 36-31 victory over the Cards.

Cortney Bork scored 12 points to lead Whittemore-Prescott, including 10 in the fourth quarter, but no other Cardinal scored more than two in the second half.

Cory Durham added seven points and 10 rebounds for W-P (0-2).

Blamer led Mio (1-2) with 14 points.
