What we're reading today: Detroit protests, grisly murders in Mexico and Sandy Hook investigation continues


Here are some stories that we’re reading today:

-Protesters of the state’s decision to appoint an emergency financial manager for Detroit marched across the city today, including a stop at city hall.

- Seven dead bodies were found in chairs in the central plaza of Uruapan, Mexico, as many people are interpreting the grisly act as a message from the Mexican drug cartels.

-As the investigation into the Sandy Hook shootings continues, investigators are starting to piece together the events leading up to the shootings.
