Here's a few of the things we're reading today, Feb. 22:
- The Detroit Free Press reports that a Ford executive wants President Obama to pressure Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to open the country up to more imported vehicles.
- The BBC reports about evidence from Siberian caves that suggest the permafrost there is melting. Studies have indicated that a thaw in the northern hemisphere could release more than a trillion tons of methane and carbon dioxide.
- And finally, NPR has a piece about an Amish trade show, where exhibitors show off creative solutions to technological limitations for their customers.
