What we're reading today: Meteor impacts, Michigan roads, and sequestration
Here's what we're reading for Friday, Feb. 15.
- MSNBC reported on a meteoroid that broke up above Siberia, leading to an estimated 1,000 injuries in the process. It is unrelated to an asteroid flying harmlessly by the Earth Friday afternoon, according to the European Space Agency.
- The Detroit Free Press has an article up detailing the Michigan GOP's opposition to Gov. Rick Snyder's road repair plan. While they agree the roads must be fixed, they do not like his ideas on how to pay for it.
- And in the federal government, CNN has a report about a proposed package that would put off the sequestration that has come up in the U.S. Senate.
