Clark the Juggler comes to Standish

Clark Lewis, also known as Clark the Juggler, performed several tricks and acts at the Northeast Michigan Arts Council Thursday, Aug. 9. Lewis said he travels around Michigan doing shows, and last winter he went to Florida.

“I have been juggling for 11 years,” he said.

Lewis said he was excited since this was his first time performing in Standish, and he thinks the center is beautiful. As far as juggling, he said, it’s something he loves doing.

“To me it’s art,” Lewis said. “It’s a way to express myself, I think.”

The event was added to the summer reading program because the Iosco-Arenac District Library had extra funds. There was an intimate crowd, with around 15 people in attendance.
