Doree Jean Krozleski Payea, 79, of Omer passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 27, 1938, in Detroit to the late Ralph Otto and Victoria Helene (Winkler) Stelter. Doree enjoyed going to the casino, dancing and playing bingo. She loved doing outdoors activities, especially mowing the lawn. Doree always had a pot of coffee on for anyone who might stop by to visit. She loved being with and around her family.

Doree is survived by her two children, Patricia (John) Blanchard and Joseph “Tim” (Rosie) Krozleski; four grandchildren, Tim Krozleski, Stacey (Brock) Fritz, Trista Krozleski and Eric Blanchard; and five great-grandchildren, Logan Krozleski, Jaryn Ervin, Donavahn Curtis, Addison Fritz and Maddox Fritz. She is also survived by three sisters, Ruth Ann Campau, Eva Heminway and Carol Barber; two brothers, Jack Stelter and Ralph Stelter; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Tony Krozleski; her son, Danny Krozleski; and her second husband, Ron Payea.

According to Doree’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Doree’s life is being planned by her family in the future. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Standish Chapel.
