Grace L. (Dunn) DeHaan, 86, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017, in Naples, Fla.

Grace was born Aug. 6, 1930, to Willard and Mary (Mathe) Dunn of Alger. From an early age, she demonstrated her strong personal trait of service to others, and after graduating high school in Sterling she attended and graduated from Hurley School of Nursing in Flint. She practiced as a registered nurse for several decades while residing in Burton, also raising four children there with her husband of 61 years, William H. DeHaan. After retirement, she and her husband relocated to Marco Island, Fla., and split the seasons with their summer home in Gladwin.

Grace was one of Willard and Mary’s seven children, and is survived by siblings, Wanda McTaggart, John Dunn, Jim Dunn and Ernie Dunn. Also surviving and missing her greatly are husband, Bill; children, Cheryl Purdue, Bill, Mark and Tom; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
