Gregory L. Kozloski

Died Sept. 28, 2017


Gregory Leo “Koz” Kozloski, 56, of Alger passed away Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at his home with his family by his side.

He was born July 3, 1961, in Detroit to the late Robert N. and Mary G. (Buchannon) Kozloski. He married the former Shelley Beeler May 28, 1983, in Roseville. Greg was a master electrician and owner/operator of Kozloski Electric. He was known to help anyone who needed help or assistance. Greg was active in many charities: Wertz Warriors, Habitat for Humanity, Bikers for Kids, Moffatt Township Fire Department & Ambulance, Ogemaw Bike Week and many others. He loved hunting, fishing, hunting for morels and riding his motorcycle. Greg was always willing to help anyone with their electrical needs, the Ogemaw County Fairgrounds and the American Legion Post.

Gregory is survived by his wife, Shelley; and his two sons, Michael Kozloski and Matthew (Schana) Kozloski. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Daemeon Kozloski and Edison Kozloski; two brothers, Robert (Gayle) Kozloski Jr. and David (Julie) Kozloski.

He was predeceased by one brother, Michael Kozloski.

A special thank you to cousin Laura Lambert for all of her support.

A memorial service was held Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, at 4 p.m. at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Standish Chapel with the Rev. Devin Chisholm officiating. The family greeted family and friends from 2 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. According to Greg’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
