Leo D. Ervin, 87, of Pinconning passed away Monday, March 13, 2017.

Leo was born March 28, 1929, in Standish Township to the late Dennis and Rosa (Dorre) Ervin. Leo married the former Karen Ingram Oct. 4, 1959, in Standish. He served his country by serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He loved to farm and work on cars and tractors. Leo was a flea market-aholic. He very much enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Leo is survived by his wife, Karen; one daughter, Rose (Roger) Goick Saddler; and two sons, Jeremy John Ervin and Jamie Steven (Elizabeth) Ervin. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Garret Ervin, Owen Ervin, Andrew Goick, Meagan Goick, Haley Ballard and Gabriel LaFave; and six great-grandchildren, Aaron Ballard, Amber Ballard, Addison Ballard, Karlie Buckler, Christian LaFave and Brenden LaFave. He is survived by three sisters, Margie Rang, Thelma Bryan and Betty Sczepanski.

Leo was predeceased by one grandson, John Goick; two sisters, Wilma Biskner and Gladys Friday; and one brother, Roy Ervin.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 17, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Standish Chapel, Standish, with the Rev. John Tousciuk officiating. Burial will follow in Pine River Cemetery. Family will greet family and friends from noon Friday until time of service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Dementia Foundation.
