Marcella A. “Midge” Lee, 95, of East Tawas, formerly of Turner, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at St. Joseph Hospital in Tawas City.

Midge was born Nov. 1, 1921, in Sherman Township to the late Lawrence and Shirley (Brown) Cottrell. She was a member of both Riverside Mennonite Church and National City Mennonite Church. Midge had been employed by Standish Products many years ago as a machinist. She enjoyed knitting dishcloths in her spare time.

Midge is survived by her son, Ralph Koehn; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Sue) Cottrell; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Midge was preceded in death by her husbands, George Koehn and Edgar Lee; sisters, Essie (Morris) Pommerville and Rhea (Joe) Petri; and daughter-in-law, Dawn Koehn.

Visitation for Midge will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017, at Buresh Funeral Home, 15 W. Maple Ridge Rd., Twining, MI 48766. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Gerald Swartz officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Valley Cemetery, Twining.
