Mary Alice Rohlf, 87, of Standish passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018.

She was born June 4, 1931, in Pinconning, to the late Edwin and Elizabeth (Bessie Pommerville) Koth. Mary Alice Koth married Francis (Jake) Rohlf in May 1953. Together they raised three daughters. They enjoyed camping and spent their retirement winters in Bradenton, Fla. Alice enjoyed many arts and crafts. She was an avid quilter and crocheter; she made many quilts and afghans for wedding and baby gifts for family members. She also enjoyed dancing and playing cards. Alice’s greatest passion was spending time with her daughters and their families. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pinconning.

Alice is survived by her three daughters, Deborah (Lyle) McLincha, Lois (Todd) Halstead and Linda (Jess) Lauria; her three granddaughters, Jennifer Rohlf, Vanessa (Josh) Mills and Marjorie (Shawn) McClurken; and her seven great-grandchildren, Kevin Bowles, Kyle Rohlf, Kent Rohlf, Chyanne Himel, Jakeb Mills, Chandon Reed and Kyran McClurken. Alice is survived by her siblings, Tereasa Ancel, Ed Koth, Richard Koth, Verda Kinch, Fredrick (Betty) Koth, Joe Koth and Diane (Gerald) Crouterfield.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edwin and Bessie Koth; her husband, Francis (Jake) Rohlf; her sister, Bernice “Bunny” Pickvet; and her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Neil Ancel, Clifford Pickvet, Ed Kinch, Lottie Koth and Joan Koth.

According to Alice’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at the Divine Shepherd Christian Community Church, Standish, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Standish Chapel.
