Norma Jean Linton, 72, of Standish passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, after a lingering illness.

Norma was born March 11, 1946, in Hart to the late Gerald and Ruth (Garity) White. She married Richard Linton on June 22, 1962, in Skidway Lake. Richard and Norma owned and operated L & L Trucking, where Norma was a truck driver for 45 years. In her spare time Norma enjoyed bowling.

Norma is survived by her husband, Richard; her four children, Sue (Scott) Mudge, Annette (Dale) Albach, Mary (David) Phillip and Heather (Todd) Strawn; 26 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Norma is survived by five siblings, Linda (Jim) Gray, Donna (Bob) Carrier, Paula (Bill) Switala, Jerry (Fran) White and Maria Rose.

She was predeceased by one brother, Raymond Terry White.

Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, at the Abundant Life Church, 3657 Lincoln Rd., Standish, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Thomas McCoy officiating and interment in Sterling Cemetery, Sterling. Norma will lie in state at the Abundant Life Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m.
