Remembering the tragedy and sacrifice


The memories of those lost in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, and the bravery of first responders and service members following the attacks were honored during a 9-11 ceremony at the Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church in Standish Monday, Sept. 11.

Sorry, we couldn't make it to the 9-11 ceremony in Standish this year. But will be there next year. If you look at the crowd shown in the picture, the majority of them are senior citizens. Let's encourage the young people to come to this ceremony. We all need to remember what happened that day. This is an extremely important day in history!
