Missing 2-year-old found safe


ALGER — A 2-year-old girl that had been missing since Friday morning has been found safe and OK. 

Police, firefighers and volunteers were searching for the girl in the Forest Lake area in Alger. Around 30 people were involved in the search.

The girl reportedly went missing after chasing after a dog in the woods.

The girl's name is Autumn, and the dog's name is Brooke.

The search included the Arenac County Sheriff's Department, the Tribal Police, Standish, Sterling, Moffatt and Twining fire departments and many citizen volunteers.
