Story of Aladdin to be told by puppets Saturday

STANDISH — A classic tale from the “One Thousand and One Nights” collection of stories will be told via a puppet show March 18 at the Northeast Art Center in Standish.

“Aladdin” will be presented by Puppet Adventures of Detroit at the art center starting at 2 p.m. Saturday. According to a press release from the Northeast Michigan Arts Council, the puppet show will include multiple sets, garments and props. The release states the show is enjoyable for everyone, from young children to grandparents.

Tickets can be purchased at the art center box office starting a 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children. For more information or advanced tickets, call 989-846-9331 or visit nemiac.org.
