Terrence Joseph “Terry” Lynch, 95, passed away Nov. 4, 2017, surrounded by his family.

Terry was born Oct. 12, 1922, in Munger, the fifth of 13 children, to William and Ina (Bushaw) Lynch. Terry served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was honorably discharged Dec. 30, 1945. He married Dolores Du Russel on Nov. 11, 1950, and together they raised six children in Munger, moving to Twining in 1965.

Terry is survived by his children, Diane (Randy) Cataline, Terry (Cindy) Lynch Jr., Kevin (Amy) Lynch, Greg (Paula) Lynch, Doug (Amanda Uhl) Lynch and Brad “Boomer” Lynch; grandchildren, Lisa, Kelly, Marcy, Brent, Jenelle, Lauren, Josh, Jason, Shane, Ashley, Haley, Brodi, Grant and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Justin, Chase, Wyatt, Cooper, Isabel, Michael, Marlowe, Matteo, Hudson, Keaton, Maevyn, Brooklyn, Keiler, Fielder, Gibson, Collins, Eva and Jack; great-great-granddaughter, Aurora; sister, Marjorie Hanson; brother, Tim Lynch; sisters-in-law, Judy Lynch and Alice Lynch; special cousin, Father Joseph Schabel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dolores, in 2005; eight brothers; and two sisters.

According to Terry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 415 S. Court St., Au Gres, MI 48703. Father Joseph Schabel will officiate. Terry’s family will greet family, friends and neighbors at the church Thursday from 9-11 a.m. Inurnment will be at a later date in Linwood Cemetery in Au Gres, next to his wife, Dolores.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to local Meals on Wheels, veterans organizations or a charity of choice in memory of Terry. Online condolences may be offered at
