Victoria Rose Sexton, 64, of Decatur, Ala., formerly of Omer, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

She was born June 18, 1954, to the late Howard and Martha (Covill) Peek. Vicki enjoyed babysitting and her animals, and had a passion for making rock candy during the holidays. She put in many miles volunteering, giving transportation services to individuals.

Vicki is survived by her five stepchildren, Leonard Sexton and friend Linda, Andrew Sexton, Cheryl (David) Berry, Jeffrey (Cricket) Sexton and Mark Sexton; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Christine Tremble; brother, Joe "Dutch" Peek; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, David Sexton; two sisters, Zara Peek and Jean Labean; and brothers, Charles and Bud Peek.

According to Vicki’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Viki’s life will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at Twining Baptist Church with Pastor David Evans officiating. Family will be present from noon to time of service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home in Decatur, Ala.

Vicki is survived by one sister, Christine Tremble; and brother, Joe '"Dutch" Peek.

She was predeceased by her husband, David Sexton; two sisters, Zara Peek and Jean Labean; and brothers, Charles and Bud Peek.
